Stack Summit - Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026

The short version

Stack Summit collects anonymous gameplay analytics to tune level difficulty, and shows optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch. No forced ads, no accounts, no personal data, nothing is sold, and we never ask iOS for permission to track you. You can turn analytics off in Settings at any time.

What we collect

When analytics are enabled, we record anonymous gameplay events: runs started, where runs ended and why (gust, pigeon, drift), levels completed, stars earned, share-button taps, and session length. These events carry a random device identifier and device type, and are processed with PostHog (EU-hosted servers). They are never linked to your name, email, or identity, and are used only to make the game better.

Rewarded ads (Google AdMob)

If your stack falls, you can choose to watch one video ad to keep climbing. Ads appear only when you tap that button - there are no banner ads, no interstitials, and nothing plays on its own. Ads are served by Google AdMob. When an ad is shown, Google receives standard ad-serving data such as your IP address, device model, and coarse ad-interaction data (which ad was shown, whether it finished), handled under Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data from partners.

Stack Summit never requests the iOS tracking permission, so the advertising identifier (IDFA) is never available to us or to Google through this app, and ads are served non-personalized. That is also why you will never see the "Allow tracking?" dialog in Stack Summit.

What we never collect

No name, email, contacts, location, photos, microphone, and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites. The iOS advertising identifier is never read because we never ask for tracking permission.

Game Center and iCloud

If you sign into Game Center, Apple processes your leaderboard scores and achievements under Apple's privacy policy. Your game progress syncs through your private iCloud key-value storage; we cannot read it.

Opting out

Analytics: Settings > "Share anonymous analytics" - switch it off. Ads: simply never tap a "watch ad" button; no ad can appear on its own.

Children

Stack Summit is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
