Effective: August 2026
Payday Panic! has no accounts and asks for no personal information. There are no forced ads — the only ads are optional bonus videos you choose to watch, served by Google AdMob. The game also collects anonymous data about how it is played, so we can see which parts are too hard or too dull.
From version 1.1, the game offers optional rewarded ads: short videos you can choose to watch in exchange for an in-game bonus (extra stamina, a stalled bill, and similar). Ads never play on their own, never interrupt the game, and skipping them costs you nothing.
These ads are served by Google AdMob and are non-personalized: the app never requests tracking permission and never accesses your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). When an ad is shown, Google receives only standard ad-serving data such as your IP address and device model, used for ad delivery, frequency capping and fraud prevention — not for building an advertising profile. How Google uses this data is described in Google's advertising policy and privacy policy.
Anonymous gameplay events — what you started, whether you finished it, how long it took, and similar. These go to PostHog, an analytics service, and are stored on servers in the European Union.
Alongside those events, the analytics library records basic device context: device model, iOS version, app version and system language. Nothing in that set identifies you.
Each install is given a random identifier generated on your device. It is not your Apple ID, your email, your name, your phone number, or your device's advertising identifier, and it is not connected to anything outside this game.
Your progress and settings are stored on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
If in-app purchases are offered, they are processed entirely by Apple. We never receive or store payment information.
Payday Panic! is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Because we hold no account and no identifying information, we generally cannot locate “your” data on request. If you would like the anonymous records from your install excluded, email us and we will do what the data allows. Deleting the app removes everything held on the device.
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes with it.
